No. It is non-ablative, meaning the surface remains intact while fractional energy is delivered into the dermis.
Can it help acne scars?+
It may improve selected textural acne scars. Scar type and depth matter, and combination treatment may be recommended.
Can it be paired with IPL?+
Yes, in appropriately selected patients. Combining texture-focused fractional treatment with pigment or vascular correction can address more than one component of photodamage.
